Roosevelt’s Legacy by Blake Clinch

Roosevelt’s Legacy

“Lowering myself to the ground, I crawled slowly towards the grey monarch standing motionless in the morning drizzle. Closing the distance to less than 30 meters, I raised my camera and the shutter began flickering as the Wapiti Bull filled the frame. Over the next 45 minutes, I was privileged to watch him resting after a night of courageous bugling in the valley floor of the Wild Natives river, deep in the heart of Fiordland National Park. Capturing moments like this in an image brings me so much satisfaction and inspires me to get more.

I cannot thank you enough for supporting the blood and sweat that went into capturing this image, and the many more images to come.” – Blake Clinch
