Hunters Journal Issue 2

An idea is one thing. Following through with the idea and making it a reality is another. But seeing how that idea is received by fellow hunters in such a positive way is what drove us to create the second issue of the Hunters Journal, and solidified our goal to be New Zealand’s premier hunting magazine.

As a hunting publication, we will never wander far from the reason we started, to tell hunting stories and to inspire others to charge into the hills in search of game. Throughout this issue, we’ve kept some familiar faces and added a few new ones. We’ve brought in a touch of fly-fishing, got our man Sam Wild back for some underwater hunting, found a couple of new photographers bringing us adventures from the West Coast and bought you a story on Jap stags in the central North Island. We also share a couple of the adventures we’ve had following Khan Adam as he ticks off a few different species with the bow. It’s also your first insight into the film we’re creating that’ll be released towards the end of this year, free to view.

We hope you enjoy Issue 2. We hope it inspires you to get out into the country this weekend and would love if you shared those adventures with us.
